¿What do the programmes consist of?

These programmes provide you with the opportunity to put your knowledge and skills into practice, and to share the experience you have gained over the years.

As a volunteer you will advance and expand your knowledge about the centre and its collection, about contemporary art and many of the issues concerning contemporary society.

Guided Tours and Outreach Discussion Events –aimed at Old Age Pensioner Associations, Leisure Clubs and Groups at risk of social exclusion– prior to visiting the Centre are among the most important aspects of the Volunteer Programme. The Centre will provide volunteers with preparatory training sessions in which they will learn all the necessary information about the Foundation’s objectives, its temporary exhibitions, as well as the visual and educational analysis techniques required to convey the content of exhibitions to visitors.

With accessible volunteering, you can carry out didactic activities with groups with disabilities or participate in the You offer a vision programme, which offers visitors the chance to see art from your own particular viewpoint, the way you hear it or understand it with your wonderful mind, increasing integration and raising the awareness of all visitors to the Centre.

In this case, we will look at availability and requirements in each case. So, if you have experience in communicating your emotions and perceptions, if you are keen and want to share, contact us and propose your ideas and projects. Phone 927 626414 or write to us at accesibilidad@fundacionhelgadealvear.es.
