This exhibition presented a carefully chosen and representative selection of 46 works of art made by 42 international artists in the city that would subsequently house the Visual Arts Centre Helga de Alvear Foundation. Rather than seeking to highlight paths, trends or categories, the exhibition attempted to faithfully reflect the Collection’s eclectic and rich range, its plurality and consistency, divided into a number of emblematic buildings in the old city centre of Cáceres.
