Helga de Alvear Museum is home to one of the most important contemporary art collections in Europe: The Collection is made up of more than 3,000 artworks by artists just as famous as Picasso, Kandinsky, Louise Bourgeois, Ai Weiwei or Helen Almeida.

AVAILABILITY: Only during the Museum's closing hours. Full-time on Monday. Full-time Mondays, Sunday afternoons or outside opening hours on weekdays: breakfast every morning before 10:00 a.m., aperitifs from 2:00 p.m. and cocktails and dinners from 8:00 p.m. winter and from 21:00 in summer time.

EDUCATION ROOM

AVAILABILITY: Every day except Saturday mornings.

GARDENS

AREA AND EQUIPMENT: 400 m² (useful space, without counting the stairs and the entrance slope). There are no electrical outlets, but it is possible to connect extension cords from the education room

WALLS: An open space framed by the façades of the Casa Grande and the new building

FILM AND ADVERTISEMENT

The Museum spaces can be used as a setting for filming audiovisual content for advertising purposes, series or movies.

AVAILABILITY: Only during the Museum closing hours. Monday full hours, Sunday afternoons or outside opening hours on weekdays. Filming requests that coincide with the Museum's opening hours will be reviewed individually for approval by those responsible for the Museum

Rental of spaces

The Museum offers the possibility of enjoying personalized experiences in a closed Museum or by the organization of group visits, taking into account the needs of each client in the company of a professional specialized in Art History and an expert in the Helga de Alvear Collection.

PRIVATE VISITS BEFORE 10 a.m.

You can enjoy private visits to the Collection or temporary exhibitions from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. There is a maximum of 25 people per group. You can also enjoy a simple breakfast before the visit combining it with our space rental offer.

NIGHT VISITS

We offer private visits to the to the Collection or temporary exhibitions during the Museum closing hours from 8:00 p.m. in winter and from 9:00 p.m. in summer. There is a maximum of 25 people per group. You can also enjoy cocktails, shows or dinners combining the visit with a rental space.

ART MONDAYS

Private visit during the museum closing hours, between 10:00 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Mondays. A rate is established for each individual ticket with a minimum booking corresponding to 12 tickets. In case you would like to visit the Museum with a smaller group you should respect this minimum rate.

WORKSHOPS & TAYLORMADE ACTIVITIES

The Museum offers companies and individuals the possibility of creating personalized activities related to the Helga de Alvear Collection. These activities can be part of a company trip, team building experiences or as a complement to educational programs.

TOURISTIC GROUPS IN THE MUSEUM

Travel agencies and tour operators have at their disposal visits for tourist groups, with or without hiring a specialized guide.
