Cristina Lucas

Catalogue dedicated to the artist spanish Cristina Lucas and which includes her production over the last decade, published on the occasion of the monographic exhibition held at the Helga de Alvear Museum and the CAAC in Seville.

Cristina Lucas is one of the current Andalusian artists with the greatest international projection. Her work is part of collections such as the Center Pompidou in Paris. This catalog contains a sample of the artist’s work, revealing the discursive centers that promote and generate her work. In the words of the artist herself: “the themes are reorganized in concentric circles between the individual, society and the territory. We think about cartographies, identities, injustices and what unites us today: more than anything; our bodies occupying a place facing the abyss.”
