Museum of Contemporary Art Helga de Alvear

Catalogue of the temporary exhibition curated by María Jesús Ávila in the opening year of the new Museum building. More than space showed the way in which artists have reproduced, interpreted, imagined, denied or deconstructed space. Not only from a formal point of view, but putting into play those other social, political, economic and emotional implications attached to the systems of representation waiting for the viewer to reactivate them. The catalogue includes fragments of relevant texts from authors like Georges Perec, Gaston Bachelard, Heidegger, Julio Cortázar and Roland Barthes, among others.
